Managed to catch the japanese movie Dance, Subaru admist my hectic schedule and having a painful aching back. It is definately one of the more inspiring movies I've watched this year which really moved me throughout.
Most especially, kudos to the choreographer for Subaru's contemporary piece at the last scene which managed to capture her pain and angst and have it translated to the audience in such beautiful form.
I loved the movie as it subtly depicts what makes a successful dancer; Love, Passion, Hardwork, Interpretation and Expression. Personally, I believe that these values should not only be used on dance but in life in general and it has worked for me so far.
1) Love what you do.
2) Be Passionate about it.
3) Work Hard especially at the Fundamentals.
4) Interpret the right understanding.
5) Express the end product as its supposed to be.
Will end the post here and I strongly encourage my dear readers to catch this movie in the theatres especially if you too are a dancer.
Take Care and God Bless. "Dance~ Subaru!"
